Nov 18, 2020

On this episode of the Resiliency Factor Podcast, I speak with my soul sister and highly regarded professional businesswoman, Kelly Lynn Adams. Kelly is a Certified Leadership and Life, High-Performance Coach. She is also the speaker and host of Perfectly Imperfectly Podcast and founder of The After 5 Club, which has helped hundreds of high achieving women especially professional and corporate women with a side hustle manage their mindset, maximize their time, and monetize their businesses.

Kelly Lynn spent over 14 years in corporate America working for some of the top retail and corporate brands in the world, like Gucci, DKNY, and Bed, Bath and Beyond to name just a few. Her mission is to help others redefine success through shifting their thoughts, increasing their confidence, stepping into their power and super-sizing their self-love.

She has been featured on Forbes, Huffington Post and affiliates of CBS, FOX and EBC to mention just a few.

Key Highlights from Our Episode

  • Kelly begins by telling listeners how as a little girl, she always felt like she was destined to do big things. She retraces her footsteps back many years even before coaching was as popular as it is today.
  • Kelly also shares how she dealt with burnout and how it got so bad that she ended up being admitted to the hospital. From that time and after spending two months in bed to reclaim her health, she knew something different had to be done.
  •  She also mentions this one instance in her life when she completely lost everything and how that later became one of the most defining moments of her entire life.
  • She also talks about stepping into integrity and how that was such a big one in helping her not only grow business-wise but also individually as a person.
  • Kelly talks about trauma and how people need to deal with the resulting feelings. If these feelings are not addressed, definitely they are going to be expressed in an unpleasant manner as a coping mechanism.
