The Resiliency Factor Podcast

Nov 11, 2020

On this episode of the Resiliency Factor Podcast, I speak with my good friend and fellow Knowledge Broker Blueprint member, Crispin Sanford. Crispin owns and operates a business coaching and consulting firm in Clearfield, Utah. Crispins is also obsessed with finding and establishing the benefits of good organizations, which he has seen countless times result in the dramatic impact of business productivity and expansion.

For over five and a half years, Crispin worked in business development for Bill Good Marketing, the number one marketing system for full-service financial advisors in North America. He left his role as a Vice President of Business Development there to pursue building his own business and has not looked back since.

One of his principal services is the Business Organization Machine Workshop, which can transform the operation of any business owner or entrepreneur over a weekend or in six 3-hour sessions.

Key Highlights from Our Episode

  • Crispin talks about how he first ventured into the entrepreneurship world after getting an idea to begin washing cars for clients in a nearby pub.
  • He recalls not only did he begin his entrepreneurial journey alone, but he also went a step further into joining a business school. There he learned how business functions and how it works to gain a broader understanding of how he would later manage his businesses.
  • Crispin also reveals a little about his experience working in the Hollywood entertainment world and explains why he decided to quit working in that industry. He mentions that integrity is very important to him along with great work ethics.
  • He also shares how he lost friends when he decided to live with his father in their motorhome. He also reveals that in his lowest moments, he was very surprised by how society has to a greater extent become so superficial. Great suits, flashy designer clothes, strong work background and speaking in a British accent made him pass off as someone who was very important.
  • Crispin also poses a really good question, where he asks listeners, “Do you want to achieve the American dream?”

Quote
